Course Description

Welcome to the series for sight reading for beginners! In this course, you should expect to learn how to sight read by doing one simple line at a time (via downloadable PDF's) with separate hands, with gradually added details such as dynamics, articulation, and the like. Each week will consist of one line a day to practice, plus a follow up video tutorial to help check your work.

Enjoy!

Piano Instructor

Ayana Webb

I graduated from Rutgers University, with a B.A.S. in Music. I’ve played piano for about 17 years, and have taught for almost six years now, having taught well over 50 in-person students during my career. Outside of piano, I was also involved in some notable vocal projects, such as Jill Scott’s album “Light of the Sun”, in which I’ve been credited for background vocals. I do not teach vocal lessons at the moment.
