Course Description

In this series of beginner courses, I will walk you through using my personally composed exercises (PDFs provided) to work on the following techniques:

  • Relaxing of fingers
  • Keeping fingers naturally curved
  • Building strength in each finger
  • Keeping right and left hands in uniform
  • Staying with the metronome (when applied)

Course 101 will deal with two exercises.

Piano Instructor

Ayana Webb

I graduated from Rutgers University, with a B.A.S. in Music. I’ve played piano for about 17 years, and have taught for almost six years now, having taught well over 50 in-person students during my career. Outside of piano, I was also involved in some notable vocal projects, such as Jill Scott’s album “Light of the Sun”, in which I’ve been credited for background vocals. I do not teach vocal lessons at the moment.
